Went to Costco tonight to stock up on Halloween candy for the office and granola bars for the spouse. Saw these and inner self said, “Buy, buy, buy.” This is much different than the usual inner self that says, “Save, save, save.” Costco does that to me.

It’s time for the not quite yearly (OK, more like lucky if it’s every two years) housecleaning/decluttering. I’m determined to go room by room and make more efficient use of space, including vertical space. We’ll see how long my energy for the project lasts. If anyone has ideas, I’m all ears.

Came back from two weeks in Hawaii to find that fall moved in early. My tan is going to fade in no time. It’s definitely soup weather. Anyone want to start planning Friday soup nights? I’ve been searching allrecipes for inspiration.
