Happy Thanksgiving to all. I ate monkey bread and K-style hash (potatoes, eggs, prosage, feta, and more) for breakfast, then put the smack down on the boys (D, K and spouse) in munchkin and hung out with my cousin. Stuffed myself again at lunch with the traditional stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and squash, then took a nap with Percy. To top off the afternoon, my X-men team kicked butts (those would be K and the spouse’s) during the Heroclix phase of the day and I ate apple pie. I also lost horribly at Caylus and have yet to see the outcome of the rest of the evening’s proposed games.?
One thing is for certain as always: the spouse has been prepping for midnight and the start of the Black Friday deals (not to mention the ones he grabbed last night at midnight). Sigh.?
It snowed this morning. It’s really cold and gray outside. I decided that I couldn’t be blonde in all this coldness. The spouse is pleased.
At least for one day, the ’80s lived on in my office. On Halloween, we were all rock stars. I was Madonna. (Not the pointy-boob Madonna, obviously.) We had Guitar Hero set up for people to play; I had my ipod playing ’80s music all day; we ate lots of food. It was a good day. And then I came home and spent 10 minutes washing off my eye shadow.
