Shoes!

I was looking for something to pad my order of baby wipe juice and wool wash and found the perfect item: shoes. Then, spent 30 minutes deciding which shoes. I could’ve bought a dozen pairs. With the spouse’s help, we got down to two: one for everyday and church and a pair of boots for outside.

Have I mentioned how easy it is to drop large sums of money on my little girl?

The pictures on this posting don’t come through for me. Any idea why?

Me either. And speaking of images, “baby wipe juice” sure summons a strange one!

OK, try again. I tried to shortcut and just paste the images in, which obviously did not work. It should be fixed now.

ceri: the baby wipe juice is a solution to put cloth wipes in for cleaning the baby’s bum. It’s the alternative to pre-packaged baby wipes. It’s actually pretty good and it smells like lavender.

Oh, now I can see them. Cute! “These shoes are made for walkin’, V!”

Nice. You know, you can also pick up nearly-new shoes at the second hand store. People drop those off all the time and they’ve probably been worn only a few times. Crazy.

They are cute!

nothing: I just last week bought all the kids’ shoes Goodwill had. They do look nearly new, but the selection is not as good as buying new. So we do both.

Hey, what size does V wear? I am usually down in Portland near Goodwill and if I see something I will have to get them! By the way, nice taste to both of you on the shoe selection up there. They are adorable!

Nohe, we bought her size 5-5 1/2. She’s wearing size 4 1/2 now, so I figured we’d start a little bigger than that. We’re going to move into 18-month clothes here shortly. Her 12-month clothes are starting to get short or tight but not all 18-month clothes fit her yet, so we’re right in between.

Okay, I’ll keep my eyes open for anything cute that I can pick up for her! =0)
